Our client, leading provider of audience solutions in the travel vertical, is looking for an exciting new General Manager with extensive experience in marketing, management, and travel to oversee the growth of business within the company’s target landscape. This expert leader will use his/her powerful analytical and sales skills to find creative solutions and bring them to market. He/she can be located out of Chicago, New York, Boston, or Washington DC.
Some responsibilities include:
- Emphasizing the company’s significance to marketers in the vertical
- Discovering superior systems to integrate into the entire company
- Pioneering sales techniques and related tools for the sales team
- Travel (50% of time)
- Owning and developing of marketing and general business strategies for relevant markets
- Guiding and supporting sales and product teams to best serve clients
- 5-7 years’ successful experience in marketingâ€"online advertising and audience targeting preferred
- Strong self-motivation and organization; ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent, proven team-building skills
- Powerful public speaking facility
- Expertise in writing and creating presentations (MS PowerPoint)
- MBA is a big plus
