Location: New York New York

Description: The Haber Group is at present looking to employ Help Desk Analyst right now, this position will be placed in New York. We are a Technology Consulting Company that has been serving clients in the New York City and Long Island area for over 15 years. Our client base is primarily small to medium sized businesses, many in the Architectural, Engineering and Construction fields. Our clients rely on us for their day-to-day IT needs along with strategic planning and management of their technology.

We are looking for a personable, attentive and smart person to join our small team. You must need to be able to learn and think on your feet. You should have exemplary communication skills a! nd a positive attitude. Punctuality is paramount. You will pri! marily work from our office, although you should be available for work at client sites if necessary.

The chosen candidate will demonstrate:

  • Competence in end-user and workstation support
  • The ability to communicate well, both verbally and written to technical and non-technical people.
  • Proven customer service skills -- Must be friendly, engaging and professional with clients
  • Proficient troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a interactive and team environment, yet also able to work independently
  • Excellent and accurate documentation
Minimum Skills Required:
  • Microsoft Windows 7/8
  • Microsoft Office 2110 / 2013
  • Adobe Acrobat / Creative Suite / Creative Cloud - Installation and licensing
  • Microsoft 2008/2012 Server including and Active Directory
  • Mac OS
  • Office 365
  • Network printing
  • Networking: IPv4! , Wifi, VPN, DNS, DHCP
  • Local and cloud Backup
  • Virus/Trojan/Rootkit detection and removal
  • PDA Troubleshooting, ActiveSync
  • Remote Access / Remote Support technologies
  • Windows workstation and server maintenance best practices.
  • Follow established procedures
  • Must be able to lift and carry
Pluses:
  • Experience with Managed Services and monitoring platforms (Labtech)
  • Familiarity with Antispam and email flow troubleshooting
  • Firewall troubleshooting and configuration
  • Server Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare. XenServer
  • Remote Desktop Services (Microsoft RDP, Citrix XenApp)
  • CAD Knowledge (AutoCAD / MicroStation / Revit)
  • Microsoft Certifications
  • Linux knowledge
