Assume duties of the Department Director in his/her absence when directed.
Screen Occupation! al Therapy referrals and assign workload to appropriate staff when needed.
Performs clinical supervision by observing the delivery of treatment, reviewing treatment plans and making recommendations to effectuate progress.
Consult with Rehabilitation Medicine Director concerning department performance improvement activities.
Coordinate staff education programs to foster continuous development of competent professionals.
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
Minimum of 2 years clinical Occupational Therapy experience.
Current New York State Occupational Therapy licensure.
