We're seeking talented Baristas/Bobaristas to join our team.
As a Barista, you'll be responsible for crafting delicious beverages while providing exceptional guest service. You'll be the face of our cafe, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all who enter. From classic drinks to seasonal specials, you'll use your creativity and skills to bring joy to our guests.
In addition to crafting our signature drinks, you'll also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the cafe and ensuring that our high standards are upheld. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation & Service
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages and foods according to company recipes and standards, including snacks, teas and specialty drinks.
- Prepare ingredients for beverages and snacks according to company recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized beverage station, including equipment, supplies, and condiments.
- Ensure that all beverages are served at the correct temperature, consistency, and quality.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions, and making recommendations.
- Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently, using the POS system.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols, including wearing appropriate attire and using personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
Teamwork & Communication
- Work collaboratively with the Store Manager and other team members to ensure that the store is clean, well-stocked, and operating efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members, providing updates on inventory levels, equipment issues, and customer feedback.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions, sharing ideas and suggestions for improving store operations and customer service.
- Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Work with Store Manager and team member in managing inventory levels of ingredients and other supplies, prepping and stocking as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Receive and process vendor deliveries, ensuring that all items are properly stored and labeled.
- Perform regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom, ensuring that all items are properly stored and labeled.
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar role preferred.
- CA Food Handler certification required.
- Ability to work full time (40 Hours), including variable hours such as mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30-40 pounds.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Ability to present, within three days of hire, documentation demonstrating authorization to be employed in the United States
