Resolution Specialist Job Duties
Resolution specialists have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
Preparing detailed reports of findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on investigations
Establishing priorities based on case urgency, complexity of investigation, available resources, and other factors
Interviewing witnesses, police officers, medical staff, and other individuals involved in the case to gather information and evidence
Analyzing and interpreting evidence to determine its value in a legal proceeding
Conducting investigations to identify the facts regarding a matter for use in court proceedings such as lawsuits or criminal trials
Explaining legal concepts to clients and other non-lawyer individuals or groups who are involved in legal matters
Reviewing case files, interview transcripts, witness statements, police reports, and other materials to prepare for trial
Reviewing laws and procedures of court systems to ensure compliance during trials or hearings
Coordinating with other attorneys involved in the case and other court personnel including judges, clerks, bailiffs, and court reporters
