ROLE SUMMARY
Reporting to the Site People Experience Lead, the Associate, Site People Experience Communications role will partner with the Site PX team in supporting the business in effective communicating information and change initiatives related to business and HR to site colleagues. This role will be responsible for executing key elements of the day-to-day site communication activities. Support highly visual site communications, regular and ad hoc content, including site homepage, digital communication boards, visuals / posters / signage, etc.
The Associate, Site PX Communications role will serve be a member of the NA PGS Site PX team. As such, they will serve on cross-site PX projects and provide communications support related to those projects. They will also assist locally with site projects, events, programs.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Write, edit, and prepare internal communications including site emails, notices, newsletters, intranet information, training materials and employee meeting invites while recommending and maintaining Pfizer policy and branding guidelines.
  • Assist site with graphic designs and final proofs, coordinating production and distribution of materials.
  • Assist in maintaining consistency in visual branding across site in line with site’s communication strategy and Pfizer/PGS branding requirements and initiatives.
  • Support external relations activities (e.g., media outreach) as applicable
  • Support department staff on developing communication strategies related to site projects or specific site communication needs, base audience, messaging, impact, and channel considerations
  • Support EHS and crisis communications efforts as needed
  • Represent site as part of the above site Engagement Communicators Network or other limited duration teams, and identify opportunities to align site and network communications efforts
  • In partnership with site leadership, support Pfizer and site recognition programs and nomination process
  • Coordinate CRG and culture initiatives
  • Support other site and PX projects, programs, engagement, and community events as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience OR an Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience OR a Bachelor’s degree with 0+ years of experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively develop creative ideas and new approaches to solve communication challenges.
  • Self-starter mentality, with ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to counsel and influence various levels across the organization, from entry level to senior leaders.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, multi-cultural and diverse environment
  • Ability to develop positive relationships both internally and externally to the site.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior HR experience, communications, and/or equivalent agency experience.
  • Prior pharmaceutical and/or health care industry experience.
  • Experience with graphic design, web design and/or video editing applications (e.g., Adobe InDesign) and/or web design applications a plus

  • Lifting, sitting, standing, walking, and bending
  • Strong reading and editing skills and attention to detail
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • Normally an onsite, client-facing role w/ a flex work arrangement (2-3 days onsite)
  • Some work and calls outside of core business hours as required
  • Limited travel (potentially 1-2 times per year)
