 Position Overview 
 The 
International Trade Analyst is responsible for assisting in maintaining 
compliance with US Customs and other federal regulations, including the accuracy 
of all HTSUS classifications, entered values, and supporting records. 
 This position works with key partners to 
facilitate product being imported and/or exported by Ann Inc. 
 without disruption. 
 Essential 
Responsibilities 
 Classification of Wearing Apparel, Footwear, and 
non-Wearing Apparel/Accessories utilizing the HTSUS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule 
 of the U.S.):
 o 
 Hold Line Reviews/classify all FOB and DDP 
styles 
 o 
 Obtain samples when necessary to facilitate 
accurate classification 
 o 
 File for Binding 
Rulings if necessary 
 o 
 Review 
Producti!   on/Sourcing requests; prepare HTS/Customs Descriptions as appr!   opriate 
 o 
 Maintain HTS table and 
facilitate requests between operating systems 
 o 
 Review fiber content 
updates for changes impacting HTS/Customs Descriptions 
 o 
 Maintain list of HTS/Customs 
Descriptions for items outside of classification systems 
 o 
 Monitor and respond to 
outstanding HTS report 
 o 
 Provide info to 
Customs Brokers, Sourcing, Production and other areas as needed 
 o 
 Maintain Sourcing/Production 
Contact List 
 Monitor/Manage daily clearance process with 
Customs Broker, resolve issues at Ports of Entry, and reach out to foreign 
offices and vendors as necessary 
 Audit and facilitate accurate information on export documents 
 Audit Customs entries for accuracy, and coordinate 
Post Entry Adjustments as necessary 
 Run Monthly recordkeeping reports; 
reconcile/organize/maintain with Customs Broker a!   nd Ann Inc. files 
 Review, approve, and submit Customs Broker invoices 
for payment 
 Respond to requests from Admin support for HTS/Customs 
Description and monthly reporting 
 Assist in projects (i.e. mass classification 
changes and updates; identifying/managing Fish & Wildlife information 
omitted from import documents, etc) and other tasks as assigned 
 Qualifications 
 · 
 Bachelorâs Degree and at least 5 years experience in Customs 
classification in apparel, accessories and/or footwear, and Customs/Trade 
Compliance experience in apparel, accessories and/or footwear. 
 · 
 Licensed Customs Broker preferred 
 · 
 Experience using one or more of the following U.S. Government-endorsed 
 resources for import product classification:
 o 
 Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the US (HTSUS) 
 o 
 General Rules of Interpretation 
 o 
 Ex!   planatory Notes 
 o 
 CROSS (Customs Rulings Database) 
 o 
 Informed Compliance
