Active International, is seeking bright and professional to work in our National Broadcast department. Candid! ates will oversees the work produced by Media Assistants and lends support to Directors and Buyers. Assists in up keeping, updating and maintaining all accounts from inception to completion. Works closely with buyers, networks and advertising agencies/clients to aid in the execution and maintenance of media placements.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists in up keeping, updating and maintaining all accounts from inception to completion. Aids in the execution and maintenance of media placements.
Maintains original copies of all pertinent paperwork regarding campaigns placed through the National Broadcast department, for example, media specifications, proposals and schedules.
Monitors the assistants to ensure departmental procedures/responsibilities are being followed as well as proper account maintenance in accordance with pre-determined timeframes.
Responsible for training new assistants and monitoring p! rogress. Lends support to the assistants as needed.
Works with the billing department to streamline the billing process by ensuring that all network invoices are in-house and reconciled by the assistants by assigned deadlines.
Updates a variety of media charts which are used by upper management including network delivery summaries, assistant account charts, agency/client contact charts, added value summary, agency partnership template, etc.
Works closely with the directors and buyers in order to learn both the planning and buying process.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent experience
One to two years of related media experience and/or training in national broadcast is preferred.
Knowledge of Harris and Spectra OX (MediaBank) is a plus.
PowerPoint (a plus)
Excel and Word (required).
