Description: Loretto is hiring Support Service Worker right now, this occupation will be placed in New York. To provide for an enjoyable dining experience for the residents by taking orders and delivering meals to residents, clearing and resetting tables for meals and catered events and delivering and retrieving room! service trays.
Responsibilities:
Assure tables are correctly set according to diagram provided, cleared and re-set after each meal. Courteously take and serve orders in courses. Clear each course before next course is brought out. Serve food according to individual diet charts. Clean and sanitize equipment such as tables, chairs, steam tables, toasters, coolers, ice cream freezers and/or machines. Deliver and pick up room service trays
Qualifications:
Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language. Ability to pass a tuberculin test (PPD) annually. Ability to either have a Hepatitis B inoculation or sign a declination. Ability to pass an annual job-related physical exam. Ability to adapt to changes in schedule to meet resident needs. This includes special events, weekends, evenings and observed holidays. Ability to carry trays and take orders from residents and guests. High School diploma or GED, unless position allows for! high school student. Capable of approval by DOH Criminal Hist! ory Records Check system.
