Ensure development of an integrated Compliance Program to promote understanding and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies - including Company Code of Conduct (Polic! y #1), Compliance Program (Policy #8), and Ethics Hotline (Policy #10).Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Develop strong relationships throughout all functional areas, departments and divisions to foster an advisory or collaborative approach to proactive compliance: Partner with Professional Affairs, Legal , Finance, Human Resources, Clinical/Quality/Regulatory, the Corporate Compliance Office, external bodies, as well as employees and compliance experts within each Business Unit, to build a divisional Compliance Program that meets evolving business needs: Facilitate quarterly Executive Compliance Committee meetings: Facilitate monthly Compliance Review Board meetings: Acquire, develop and present relevant compliance metrics for internal and external audiences: Conduct, delegate, manage and resolve compliance investigations: Develop and secure Compliance Committee approval of the divisional Compliance Charter: Develop or acquire, promote, and track compliance training and! education activities as part of a divisional Compliance Train! ing Plan: Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures: Participate in monthly Corporate Compliance Officer meetings and periodic forums : Complete annual Compliance Audit using proscribed Assessment tools: Facilitate periodic updates of the divisional Risk Assessment in accordance with the Corporate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) procedures.Oversees the development and implementation of corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and establishes protocol for similar situations in the future: Act as Compliance lead on integration of all divisional acquisitions including but not limited to implementing task plans: Coordinate with Corporate Transparency Team on production of information roll up for division to be compliant with reporting to regulatory bodies.: Maintain current working knowledge of key laws and regulations: Works with divisional, site, and functional leadership to ensure the achievement of strategic business and corporate governa! nce requirements associated with compliance: Report compliance program performance at the corporate level as follows: Compliance Tracker (twice annually), Ethics Point (continual), Compliance Committee Meeting Minutes (quarterly), Compliance Plan and Risk Assessment (annually): Manage confidential information and conduct investigations associated with, Code of Conduct, Ethics Hotline, and locally entered items Qualifications and Work Experience Required : 5+ years' experience implementing procedures/policies in a highly regulated, complex sales and manufacturing environment: 5+ years' experience implementing, maintaining and auditing systems, processes, programs and other organizational initiatives: Prefer 5+ years' experience in a broad functional and managerial role: Prefer background in a regulated function (Legal, RA/QA, HR, Auditing or Compliance): Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and influence a wide spectrum of individuals: from government officia! ls, to attorneys, to executives, to employees to agents: Demonstrated a! bility to investigate highly confidential and volatile organizational issues by appropriately applying integrity and good judgment around procedural parameters: Demonstrated ability to develop or facilitate development of training and education programs and materials: Demonstrated broad knowledge of relevant federal, state and local law and regulations (i.e., Anti-kickback and AdvaMed); demonstrated specific knowledge of Corporation polices (i.e., Code of Conduct) and procedures that directly impact compliance with the law and Company practices: Demonstrated ability to produce effective communications and documentation: Excellent PC skills with the ability to manipulate databases : Excellent analytical and time management skills: Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment effectively.
