More details about this vacancy opportunity kindly read the description below. Our Client, a Prestigious Investment Bank, is looking for an IS Auditor to join their Audit team in Midtown Manhattan.
The Associate will be in charge of auditing market and asset m! anagement activities. Audit assignments performed by this team cover GBIS sales and engineering departments as well as trading desks and all associated support functions operating on various markets and asset classes: Fixed Income & Currencies (Rates, Credit, FX, Emerging, Funding, Repo); Treasury (funding, repos, equity finance); Commodities (Oil, Natural Gas, Metals); Structured Products and Equities (Listed and OTC volatility products, cash equity, equity finance). Audits typically include reviews of front, middle and back office support functions, product control, accounting, risk management, IT, legal, compliance, etc.
The candidates primary responsibilities will be to assist in, or lead, audits with focus on:
- planning the audit and developing clear and concise risk/control matrices and audit programs;
- analyzing business processes, procedures, and risks and evaluating the internal controls;
- preparing work papers and drafting! audit findings to bring any concerns to managements attention! ;
- preparing the final audit report, and managing related exit meetings;
- tracking and following up on open audit and regulatory issues with the clients; and
- working on special projects.
- Knowledge of IT Security Concepts
- Familiarity with one or more security and control frameworks such as ISO 17799, COBIT, COSO, Common Criteria, FFIEC, etc.
- Working knowledge of Database management systems (e.g., DB2, SQL Server and Oracle)
- Working knowledge of major computing platforms (Windows NT/2000, UNIX operating systems) and client/server architecture
- Working knowledge of vulnerability testing and IS auditing tools, and familiarity with a variety of commonly used systems and applications, web-based technologies,! network components (firewalls, routers, switches, IAPs)
- Awareness of known and emerging technical / security exploits
- Working knowledge of regulations and statutes such as GLBA, the California Privacy Bill, or the Dodd Frank Act
