Clinical Applications Specialist

Location: Buffalo New York

Description: Natus Medical Incorporated is hiring Clinical Applications Specialist right now, this job will be placed in New York. The Clinical Applications Specialist role performs the installation and training of Embla software and hardware in sleep labs. The role also assists in software, hardware, techni! cal, and PC issues to work towards prompt resolution in order to maximize customer satisfaction, and promote a quality image of Natus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Stay up-to-date and follow all Quality System procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers.

2. Provide onsite installation of sleep lab hardware and software, including configuration and testing.

3. Conduct onsite training to sleep lab staff on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the complete diagnostic system including software and hardware.

4. Maintain ownership and updates assigned service requests according to procedure.

5. Ensure timely completion of all paperwork and required reports including all data entries into the CRM system.

6. Provide WebEx training as assigned.

7. Assist with field tri! al sites as assigned.

8. Work closely to resolve issu! es at problem accounts and communicate status to the Manager of Field Service.

9. Communicates customer feedback to the product development group.

10. Work closely with technical support, sales, and CSR and serve as a liaison to ensure customer needs are met.

11. Provide clinical support and demo assistance to the sales group as needed.

12. Participate in training sessions and review new products to stay up-to-date with new product offerings.

Travel Required: Extensive

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education and/or Experience

  • 5 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting
  • College Diploma or University Degree a plus
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification is required

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Solid working knowledge of computer s! ystems and Microsoft software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly professional in dealings with clients and co-workers
  • Ability to deal with unexpected and/or delicate situations calmly and with sound judgment
  • Must be able to interface effectively with management and staff at all levels
