Required Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in web application developm! ent using PHP/MySQL
- Proficiency with PHP 5
- Candidates should have hands-on experience in Object-Oriented Development
- MySQL - understanding of relational database principles including the ability to read / write basic SQL queries
- HTML / CSS / JavaScript / AJAX - Basic JavaScript / XHTML / CSS development will be necessary
- Linux experience - basic Linux development skills especially in a LAMP environment
- Self-Starter - candidate will be able to jump in quickly
- Passion for new technology and problem solving
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience in C# .net development (a plus)
- Experience with GitHub or other version control systems (a plus)
- Developing PHP scripts for web front-end and middle-tier application components.
- Developing web-services to facilitate data publishing to internal and external data consumers.
- Develop! ing web-services to facilitate data subscription from internal! and external sources.
- Developing RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Prepare deployment scripts and producing deployment plans
- Monitor and troubleshoot Development, Production, and Staging Servers for deadlocks, performance issues, and resource issues
- Prepare roll-back scripts and producing roll-back plans
- Create unit tests for continuous testing and integration
- Create and manage application design documentation and other technical artifacts relating to development
- Administer source control of production schemas and development schemas
- Provide administration of development, testing, and staging servers
- Install revised or new systems by proposing specifications and flowcharts
- Recommend optimum access techniques and coordinate installation requirements
- Support database functions by designing and coding utilities
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization st! andards
