This position involves the modeling of variable annuities for Actuarial Guideline 43 (Reserves), C3 Phase II (Risk Based Capital), and Embedded Value reporting. Additional responsibilities include financial reporting, planning, and analysis; and experience studies. This position may invovle some supervisor resp! onsibilities.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required.
5 years or more general actuarial experience in life insurance or annuities required.
3 years or more doing actuarial modeling using MG Alfa (preferred), TAS, Prophet, or MoSes preferred.
Variable annuity experience preferred.
ASA or FSA (Associate or Fellow) of the Society of Actuaries) preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate and document model inputs, assumptions, methodologies, and results to a wide audience, and to develop and monitor controls around financial models required.
