Qualifications (required):
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- Proficient in Object-Oriented Analysis/Design
- Proficie! nt in C/C++
- Excellent debugging skills, with the ability to understand unfamiliar code
- Experience throughout the software lifecycle (requirements analysis, design, implementation, test, maintenance)
- Ability to work in a team setting and come up to speed quickly
- Good communication skills - ability to sell ideas to peers/management
- Initiative - results oriented
Multi-Core development experience
XML experience
Additional Qualifications (Firmware/Embedded Software Engineer)
3-5 years Real-Time embedded software development experience
Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (i.e. uC/OS-II)
UML Firmware modeling tool experience (Rational Rose for Realtime, QM/QP)
FPGA Soft-Core processors experience (NIOS)
Develops, revises, implements and services software programming applications.
Common activitie! s: supports, tests and installs software applications and ! operating systems.
Must have ability to interface with multiple client contacts, including users, and work independently with minimal guidance and direction from a senior engineer.
Must have good communication skills and the ability to work in a changing environment. Capable of short-term assumption of project responsibilities in the absence of senior engineer.
Will work as part of a project team either at junior or intermediate level.
Candidate has 1-5 years of relevant experience.
