Lead and coordinate with department in establishing and meeting SLA’s for lights on support, inclu! ding training and preparation of electronic tax return filings. Participate in tax technology initiatives that relate to income tax compliance processes.

Major Job Responsibilities / Duties

• Effectively direct and manage multiple projects throughout the tax and project life cycle. (25% of time) • oversee training for tax department and tax technology managers and staff. (10% of time)
• Communicate effectively with tax professionals to ensure understanding of overall process and software operation. (25% of time)
• Ability to work closely with tax professionals to improve the tax preparation process using various tools. (10% of time)
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate staff and off shore personnel. (10% of time)
• Assist in planning and scheduling tax project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. â€" (10% of time)
• Perform necessary tax and software specific research and update criti! cal documentation. (10 % of time)

Position Requirem! ents

• 5-10 yrs of job-related experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Licensed CPA, EA or Master’s degree
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Experience with the Corptax tax software is required. Experience supporting a multi-national tax organization is preferred. Experience supporting large insurance companies would be ideal.
