Senior Art Buyer

Weber Shandwick Digital is seeking a Senior Art Buyer to lead the research, acquisition, production, presentation, negotiation, copyright management, purchasing and tracking of images for all advertising! , collateral, videography and marketing materials. This includes research and management of outside vendors such as photographers, illustrators and stock image sources.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Creative and Brand teams to bring the creative concept to life by managing every facet of photo production, including location, talent, pre-pro meetings and photo shoot budgets.
- Partner with creative directors, art directors, print and web production teams, and merchandise managers to schedule shoots based on production deadlines and sample availability.
- Oversee production logistics of various ad campaigns, PR, e-commerce and still life photo shoots for each Weber Shandwick project, while managing the legal aspects of the image usage.
- Develop strong relationships with outside agencies and stock houses.
- Explore new and current trends / resources for the team.
- Negotiate competitive rates for models,! hair stylist, makeup-up artists, wardrobe stylist, prop styli! sts, prop stylists, photographers, studios, producers, catering, locations, illustrators and stock houses.
- Provide operational direction on photo shoots and oversee all productions while keeping shoots timely and on budget.
- Post-production tasks of scheduling returns, review and approval of all invoices from photo shoot, and management of the photography budget.
- 4+ years of art buying experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Advertising, or Fine Arts, or equivalent job experience
- Photo and video shoot experience
- Photography job estimating experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with changing demands and deadlines
