Position Summary
As a member of our dynamic and growing team, you will be ! putting your expertise to work through supporting the evaluati! on, integration and implementation of LOC initiatives in eDiscovery and Vendor management for non-law firm vendors.
Organizational Structure
This position will report to the Vice President and eDiscovery Program Director and will work alongside two Analysts. You will also have direct exposure to LOC clients in Property & Casualty Claims, Global Legal, Compliance & Regulatory and other lines of business.
Performance Objectives
- Evaluate cost and cost savings opportunities with non-law firm services required in support of LOC Client litigation
- Advise internal constituents and outside counsel on best practices across the Electronic Discovery Reference Model lifecycle
- Support cost savings initiatives by effectively managing and promoting utilization of recommended best practices and various preferred vendor panels
- Participate in defining time tables and project plans; analyze and estimate feasibility, risks, costs, ti! me and resources
- Develop and produce required status reporting to external groups for the LOC in a timely fashion
- Support communication and transparency across the teams and up to Senior Leadership
The Ideal Candidate should have:
- 10 plus years of experience in related work preferred; knowledge of insurance industry a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of eDiscovery and litigation support
- Hands-on eDiscovery experience (law firm or vendor experience preferred) including exposure to matters with large document review requirements and familiarity with technology-assisted review tools
- Proven ability to work with diverse groups of people in challenging and complex endeavors.
- Experience creating and maintain business plans and reporting for multi-million dollar programs.
- Strong familiarity with project management and reporting tools such as ! Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and MS Project.
