Job Summary:
FINRA is looking for summer interns to fill a Junior Developer position in a small and highly efficient team. Our products are primarily web applications for internal use. We are looking for a junior developer to assist the team in enhancing and maintaining application code. In addition, the junior developer will be! involved in reviews of requirements, test cases, and other project artifacts.

Essential Job Functions:
Develop and maintain code/scripts

Develop documentation to document for design/code

Participate in reviews of system architecture, and design documents

Effectively communicate development activities and findings in oral and written formats

Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements:
BS in Computer Science (CS), Engineering or equivalent or pursuing BS in CS, Engineering or equivalent

OO design and development

Experience in developing Java & JavaScript code for web based applications

Experience using SQL

Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, XML, AJAX…

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred:
Experience with jQuery, AJAX, SPRING framework

Basic skills with JUnit

Experience working with it! erative development methodologies in small, fast pace company environme! nts

Working Conditions:
Standard business office environment.

Use of desktop PC is required.
