The job is located in the Anxiety Disorders Clinic. Candidate will be responsible for coordinating and
monitoring NIH-funded randomized clinical trial and biological research protocols in the areas of soci al anxiety disorder and other anxiety disorders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Patient recruitment and scheduling, patient screening, data collection and management. The incumbent will
assist with computerized behavioral assessment tasks, brain imaging procedures, IRB correspondence, grant applications, manuscript preparation and supervision of volunteers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum BA or BS, preferably in Biology or Psychology or another relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
The candidate must have experience recruiting social anxiety disorder subjects and expertise in eyelink eye tracking systems. Must have ability to work well with patients, and an interest in brain and psychological mechanisms underlying behavior. A working knowledge of data management software, such as excel, and SPSS is desirable.
The ideal candidate will be a person who works well in a fast-paced environment and is interest ed in creative approaches to incorporating new technology into research. He/she will be team-oriented and also self-directed, will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and will comply with NYSPI/IRB quality control mandates.
