The position
We are looking for Automation Technicians, to supplement the present teams of highly qualified employees, that we have today. The work will consist of
- Daily operation task
- Support the production from an automation perspective
- Participation in projects that improve the automatic processes in our factories to various extents
- Work with code corrections and improvements in our production system
Once you have the suitable knowledge of our production environment, you will be assigned to our on-call system, which ensures that our factories can operate around the clock.
Qualifications
Your background for working with automation can be diverse. You can be a Bachelor of Technology Management and Marine Engineering/ Marine engineer, Mechanical engineer, Automation technologist, Process technologist or industrial electrician with automation knowledge, either with a few years' experience or as a recent graduate. You could also be very experienced. And maybe your way into working with automation had a different route, which you can show with your references.
Further:
- Perhaps you have previously worked with developing code in other types of DCS systems or PLC systems.
- You may also have previously worked with Siemens PLC equipment, TIA portal etc.
- An appropriate level of knowledge with Windows operating system, AD structure, networks, etc. is an advantage, just as knowledge about working in a GMP environment will also be seen as an advantage.
- Since we collaborate on different levels, it is important that you are fluent in Danish (both written and spoken) and are proficient in English.
As a person, you are social and positive by nature. You are proactive, solution-oriented, and you like to share your knowledge. Furthermore, you work systematically and are committed to your work and your colleagues. You are used to collaborating and communicating across different professional areas in a complex stakeholder landscape and you have the capability of handling a high workload without losing the overview.
About the department
The department provides Automation support for our Fermentation, Recovery and Purification plants in API IM2, site Kalundborg. You will be part of an Automation team of 17 people – working with Sattline, Procos, 800xA and Siemens PLC, and external consultants.
