By using a test card employees are able to provide feedback through this program to help shape the future of our product, ensuring that we’re delivering the best consume retail experience in healthcare. This Program Manager will be responsible for the Experience Testing Program and work cross functionally to drive excellence and efficiency across each consumer and retailer interaction. Established processes, infrastructure and integration with our tools is paramount to our success and ability to rapidly scale across our organization.

This position requires sound ability to bring together end-to-end teams to execute operational processes and assessments that will enable teams to proactively prepare for the continuous improvement and flawless execution for Client/Member Service experience. High focus on improving the future state of the business in order to support issue prevention based on trends found by the issue management team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Program lead for Experience Testing Program responsible for strategy alignment to ensure program meets overall business need
  • Manage end-to-end program execution through cross-functional engagement to ensure deliverables are met on-time and within quality standards
  • Provide executive level program updates to sponsors, stakeholders and core team members
  • Manages the overall resolution, communication, and preventative action process for service incidents
  • Drives process optimization through the use of Lean Six Sigma tools. Engage with cross-functional partners to facilitate and guide teams in identifying root cause and high-value opportunities for issue mitigation and prevention
  • Implement risk management practices to ensure early detection through monitoring and control mechanisms
  • Proven ability to drive results under pressure and in the face of ambiguity
  • Work with minimal direction on complex, technical initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 3+ years of experience leading collaboration with cross-functional work teams to optimize operational processes and / or accomplish project activities
  • Experience utilizing data to influence key process decisions
  • Ability to lead cross functional meetings to drive alignment and problem resolution
  • Demonstrated solid judgment, problem resolution, team building, negotiation, conflict resolution, decision-making, & experience working under continual deadline pressure
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, including the ability to track issues from discovery through resolution and validation
  • Experience in MS Project & Visio

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification or experience leading a program
  • Experience working in a Lean process environment or Greenbelt Sig Sigma or greater
  • Experience working within issue and/or incident management environment
  • Change Management experience
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to grasp technical processes quickly
  • Demonstrated excellent risk planning skills & risk identification, quantification, & response planning skills
  • Demonstrable and relevant facilitation experience
  • Previous experience leading teams and/or projects

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California/Colorado/Connecticut/Nevada/New Jersey/New York/Rhode Island/Washington residents is $85,000 to $167,300. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
