Position Summary

The position of Sales Executive is responsible for contributing to Forwood’s ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth targets in the North American region.

This role will require a high-performing seasoned sales professional to cover broad sales responsibilities, focusing on developing opportunities within the appropriate sales channels in the North American region.

This is an important role within the organisation, driving our regional growth. It will provide a great opportunity for the right person to make their mark with a leading-edge safety SaaS company.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Meet all sales and operational targets set within the agreed deadlines.
  • Tailor sales strategies to the regional market.
  • Reporting to the Head of Sales on regional Sales, KPI Tracking and Pipeline Management.
  • Promote and ensure correct usage of customer relationship management and other sales applications.
  • Upskill the market in Forwood products, support product launches, development and identification.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Collaborate with other teams on sales initiatives.
  • Train and ensure adherence to the company sales processes.
  • Seek out new customers and sales opportunities to build the pipeline and increase the company’s revenues.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the company’s value proposition through proposals and presentations, including education and training in products and technologies.
  • Understand industry landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that could shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
  • Work effectively within a high-performing, cross-functional, engaged team to deliver on sales targets and company goals.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience selling SaaS solutions and exposure to high-risk industries, such as mining, manufacturing, oil & gas, utilities, energy etc.
  • Proven business development and sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organisation
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors
  • Exceptional understanding of the sales areas – continuously strive to improve and impart that knowledge and keep current.
  • Problem-Solving skills – the ability to navigate multiple clients, find solutions to problems and get to the decision-makers
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting
  • Understand key competitors, key partners, sales channels and pricing models in order to drive Forwood’s solution success in the market.

  • Deliver on Quarterly Sales Targets as agreed.
  • Maintenance and growth of product and solutions revenue

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to show the following:

  • Experience in securing sales opportunities successfully

Qualifications / Experience Required

Essential

  • 3+ years experience in SaaS sales to high-risk industries, such as mining, manufacturing, oil & gas, utilities, energy etc.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and mediation skills at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to align objectives and initiatives within the company values and vision
  • Strong commercial acumen and a high degree of financial competence, including the ability to review complex business case models as required

Preferred

  • Experience in health and safety would be advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: From $90,000.00 per year
