Goal of the Overall VISTA Project: United Way of Brevard Navigator Project willcomplete 250 enrollments, 40 Medicaid/CHIP applications, 400 Medicaid/CHIP referrals,320 Outreach/Education Events, and reach 300,000 individuals through advertising andmarketing from October 1, 2022 until September 30, 2023. The Health InsuranceNavigator role is to provide the access to affordable health insurance for lowincome andunderserved families.Our navigators provide enrollment and outreach to hard-to-reachand vulnerable populations throughout Brevard. The VISTA members will coordinateoutreach with the Hispanic and Latinx communities, and with other hard-toreach andvulnerable populations. They will also manage outreach opportunities atenrollmentevents and locations.

Member Duties : VISTA member will set up Enrollment Locations during the enrollment period will be held at libraries and hospitals weekly, M-F (hours depend on host sites)VISTA member will set up large-scale enrollment events will be held on Saturdays during the enrollment period at large library meeting rooms in North, Central, and South Brevard with all navigators available to assist.
