Through continuous innovations in tissue processing technology and surgical devices, advocacy for patient access and simplified payor reimbursement policies, CorneaGen is advancing the next generation of cornea care. In support of this goal, we are looking for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our Finance team.

What does an Accounts Receivable Supervisor do?
The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the entire billing to cash collection process. They are responsible for the accounting, analysis, and problem resolution of the company’s outstanding accounts and the application of payments. Specific responsibilities include record and create all daily invoices, credit memos and journal entries, ensure timely payment of all invoices and check requests in accordance with vendor terms and payment schedule, participate in month-end cash audit to address data discrepancies, and more. This position will supervise a team of two A/R professionals.

What else should I know about this position?
This is a full-time, salaried position reporting to our Director, Shared Services. This position works a hybrid schedule with at least two days in-person in our Seattle office, with the remaining days available to work at home/remotely.

What are you looking for in a candidate?
To be successful as an Accounts Receivable Supervisor, the ideal candidate should:
  • Have received their high school diploma; a Bachelor’s degree in an Accounting or Finance related field is preferred.
  • Possess a minimum of three years of full-cycle A/R experience.
  • Also possess at least two years of supervisory experience.
  • Be a motivated self-starter who takes initiative and is willing to take on tasks as needed.
  • Demonstrate efficiency, organization, a high attention to detail, and meticulous records maintenance skills.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and be able to work independently.
  • Have excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
  • Proficient working in ERPs & CRMs, experience in NetSuite and Salesforce preferred.
  • Be able to work with highly confidential and sensitive documents and information and maintain such confidentiality to protect the Company.
  • Possess the knowledge of contract boilerplate language and understand and interpret terms and conditions proposed by vendors and whether such terms should be negotiated.
  • Be able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Have a personal commitment to organ and tissue donation.
What compensation and benefits do you offer?
The minimum salary for this position is $80,000 annually and the maximum salary is $85,000 annually. Individual compensation will vary within this range based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience as they relate to the requirements for this position. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, dependent upon company and individual performance.
