IT Systems Analyst (Remote)

We are seeking a motivated Systems Analyst to join our Information Technology Services (ITS) team.

This job can be performed 100% remotely. Preference may be given to individuals residing in Colorado, but out of state applicants will also be considered.

The IT Systems Analyst will work as an active participant within the Systems Analyst team to maintain, monitor and process all daily operational tasks and ensure the deliverables. The individual in this position will also provide enterprise application support for other ITS teams and business partners. As needed, the Systems Analyst will serve as backup support to the ITS Help desk and assist with user access and ticket triage.

Scope of responsibility includes but is not limited to:
Service Operations & Support
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly process tasks to deliver and manage operational services at agreed-on service levels.
  • Partner with Sr. Analysts to automate manual processes and maintain process documentation.
  • Create/submit enhancement requests, ensuring the impact of all changes are accounted for and all necessary testing and validation has occurred.
  • Develop keen understanding of assigned business applications and associated business and IT processes/workflows.
  • Maintain process/workflow documentation, including configuration, inputs/outputs, and interrelationships with other systems.
  • Support upgrade projects, ensuring technology is current while evaluating the impact of new functionality in the context of the current state.
  • Monitor and maintain athenaIDX system Proactive Monitors to provide system availability and operational stability. Review, improve and approve service maintenance processes/procedures.
  • Serve as backup to the Help Desk Analyst for simple user access issues and ticket triage.
Service Construction & Transition
  • Assist in requirements gathering, designing, and implementing business application projects. Consider potential additions to Service Catalogue as appropriate.
  • Support all necessary integration and acceptance testing which may include creating/updating system design documentation and ensuring development matches design specifications.
  • Warranty a quality, secure, and resilient service creation and enhancement aimed at successful implementation and transition of services features, components, technology, and architecture.
  • Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned
HIPAA Protected Health Information Access: this position requires contact with protected health information while performing job responsibilities.

Requires 3+years of IT/System or IT HelpDesk expertise; prior work with athenaIDX is a plus. High School diploma is required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Education and/or experience in the Healthcare industry is helpful. Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft (MS) Office suite is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with and a courteous, professional businesslike manner is essential to success. Must have good planning, organizational and time management skills. The ideal candidate will be flexible with the ability to work independently in a high-stress environment. The ability to take direction and competently multiple assignments is crucial. Must be accurate and detail oriented.
