Iberdrola USA Mgmt Corp, an Iberdrola USA Company, is looking for a Lead Analyst - Applications for its Rochester, NY location. This key position will oversee and evaluate end of life cycle applications, develop technical specifications to be incorporated in proposal requests and work with internal groups to upgrade and test new tools.

JOB SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, coordinates and provides timely, high quality IT application solutions that satisfy business and regulatory requirements. Leads application software analysis, design, implementation and maintenance, project management and system integration. Provides consultation and advice to internal business areas.
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates the development, maintenance, integration and enhancement of software applications within project deadlines, including scope definition, requirements definition, research, business area analysis, data and processes modeling, specification preparations, estimating, coding, testing, etc. Helps coordinate day-to-day tasks involved in monitoring, exception reporting and resolution of problems in the production operation, communicating with internal business areas, external service providers and other IT areas. Develops and recommends innovative business solutions and alternatives for complex problems resulting in efficient, economical business processes. Interfaces with business areas to help manage expectations, facilitate resolution of issues and prioritize work. Supports proposal preparation, resource management, project plan/schedule development and maintenance, risk assessment, change management and issue management. Leads, mentors and coaches lower-level applications staff. Performs day-to-day supervision in absence of project/group manager. May train less-skilled analysts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Skills/Abilities:

Able to lead team and resolve conflict in a constructive manner. Proficient in one or more of the following technologies: SQL, .NET, HTML, Javascript, XML, Apex/O r acle or SharePoint.
Experience/Training:
At least 5 years of related experience. Project management and leadership experience. Strong facilitation and planning skills are a must. Working knowledge of desktop applications (i.e., Microsoft Office), Mainframe and/or client server technical experience. Working knowledge in one or more of the following technologies web, metering/device, AMI, GIS, IVR or other business applications . Knowledge of business processes related to utility, such as customer service and/or field operations.
Required Education:
Requires a Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business or a related discipline and five years relevant experience; or an Associates degree and seven years relevant experience.
