Qualifications:
MSW and/or related professional degree required
Significant human services leadership and management experience (10+ years)
Demonstrated ability to lead existing teams and work in a complex non-profit environment
Proven success in staff development and coaching skills
Excellent problem solving, programming and organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets
Ability to assess and develop individual and department competence, to delegate effectively, ensue accountability, meet time frames/deadlines and achieve targets
Working knowledge of quality case practice standards
Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision and leadership to the Educational Services/Youth Services Senior Management Team (Program Director of Day Care, Program Director of After School/Camp Services, Program Director of Adolescent Educational Services, ATTAIN Computer Lab Managers)
Hire, supervise, train, coach and facilitate development of staff across Educational Services
Refine and enhance Educational Services program designs, curricula, organization structures, evaluation systems and program structure
Provide clinical supervision to relevant masters level social workers in the division. Provide crisis intervention to consumers and their families when necessary
Manage the full portfolio of grants and contracts for the division, adhere to contractual obligations and compliance as dictated by multiple government and private funding sources to maintain contract integrity and achieve performance targets and outcomes
Provide fiscal oversight including budget, payroll, and contract negotiations and monitoring.Develop and monitor the board approved budget
Develop, monitor and update as needed systems related to policy and procedure
Refine, implement and oversee internal quality assurance system
Work with the Development department to raise funds to support programs and operations, identify potential funding sources and prepare reports and proposals
Work with the facilities department to ensure that all program facilities are compliant with cleanliness and safety issues as well as meeting program needs
Represent the organization to key stakeholders including funders, coalitions, UNH, FPWA and other advocacy groups.Attend meetings, workshops and conferences relevant to program activities or as requested
Develop marketing and public relations strategies and materials in association with the Marketing Director and staff
Work in partnership with Employment Services and other HSS divisions to ensure and strengthen collaborative relationships within all Settlement House clusters
Works with the Deputy Program Officer for Youth and Workforce development to develop to priorities, objectives, goals and new initiatives for Educational Services/Youth Services
Complete other related tasks as assigned or as needed
