Contract End Date: 3/31/2014
Job Duties:
1. Incorporate all I-USA New York Substations into t! he new Esri Corporate GIS using the templates.
2. Link major pieces of equipment from the new substation one-lines back to the equipment records in SAP.
3. Organize the I-USA system one-line to maximize efficiencies and meet all needs of electric operations.
a. Spectrum Displays
b. Continuity Overviews
c. Map Board (Video Wall)
d. System Operator Diagrams
4. Enhance the I-USA system one-line to incorporate the entire electrical system as modeled for Transmission Network Applications.
Job requirements:
Schematic Mapping; using Esri ArcMAP, part of Esri’s ArcGIS desktop. The mappers will be transposing electrical 1-line schematics into a new standardized format of 1-line geo-schematics. Experience with ArcMAP is essential and a basic understanding of electrical schematics would be helpful but not required. The mappers will be working under the direction of an engineer and be expected to draw substation 1-line schematics, place! the necessary features from a set of engineered templates, an! d enter the attribute data for each feature. The substation layouts will be provided to the mappers to ensure the standard formatting is consistent.
