Group provides 24/7 in-house coverage 60% of the hospital's Average Daily Census of 120. The program goal is to provide inpatient coverage ! for all requesting physicians. Physician census includes all unassigned admissions, medical consults, and coverage of Hospitalist patients in the ICU.
Hospitalists work closely with specialists for co-management of patients.
