Beth Israel Medical Center is seeking a successful Office Manager to join our fast-paced Orthopedics department. This position will require prior experience managing a fast-paced medical office. Responsibilities will include supervision of daily operational issues, development and implementation of policies and procedures, preparing annual budgets, producing monthly variance reports, department reports and related documents (statistics, practice analysis). Supervising and coordinating physician billing and billing systems; mon! itoring professional service accounts; working with physicians! , systems manager and staff to improve operations, maximizing revenues and minimizing cost. Maintaining and monitoring systems for data collection and statistical reporting, as well as preparing and analyzing operational and financial reports for Leadership.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Master’s Degree in Healthcare Management or Public Health preferred.
3-5 years related management experience in a large health care environment.
Excellent organization, communication and analytical skills required.
Demonstrated experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting and monitoring.
Knowledge of healthcare issues and regulations, hospital and physician billing and computer systems.
