Broadcast Traffic Manager

The role of Traffic Mannager is to accurately distribute all creative assets and traffic instructions within television, radio, and digital media properties on a timely basis. The Traffic ! Manager interacts with internal teams (Account Services, Broadcast Services, and Digital Teams) as well as external vendors to ensure successful delivery of campaigns.
Responsibilities :
Gather and enter traffic information, obtained from Account Services, into internal traffic and ad serving systems including 800 numbers, ISCI codes and rotation patterns, and Web creative
Proofread data entry by generating test instructions
Generate, send, and confirm receipt of ship lists sent to dub vendors and/or agency of record, including network clearance documentation when required
Generate, fax, and confirm receipt of traffic instructions sent to broadcast stations
Generate, distribute, and confirm receipt of encoding request forms to set up monitoring of television commercials through outside vendor via email
Generate and distribute telemarketing and traffic information (telemarketing activation report and traffic ma! trix report) internally as directed to Account Services, Opera! tions and Broadcast Services
Confirm receipt of all necessary materials at vendors and stations, while troubleshooting any issues, as needed
Ensure receipt and data integrity of monitoring vendor detection files on a daily basis, interacting with Broadcast Services and vendor
Create Purchase Orders (POs); Log, code and process dub vendor invoices
Maintain client traffic folders by client, product and estimate
Escalate traffic problems and issues to supervisor
Contribute to vendor management, identifying and documenting vendor performance issues
Ensure compliance with established Broadcast Traffic process, policy and procedure
Troubleshoot complex traffic issues
Update/maintain station traffic contact database including addresses, contacts, phone numbers, fax numbers and tape formats
Direct inquiries to appropriate internal departments, when necessary
Conduct day to day busines! s in a professional and courteous manner both internally with fellow employees and externally with stations, vendors and agency of record
Administrative duties relating to assigned traffic accounts, including copying, faxing and filing
Participate in special projects
Execute timely launch of online campaigns
Confirm receipt of digital elements with Web publishers and ad networks
Ensure all digital ads display properly and have appropriate click tracking inserted
Attend appropriate kickoff, review, and status meetings to maintain precise scheduling and gather changes
Interaction with third party rich media vendors
Interface daily with Account Teams/Vendors to prioritize and execute on campaign delivery
Job Requirements
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Excellent PC skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
High le! vel of accuracy while maintaining speed and efficiency
Problem! resolution skills
Must have a high attention to detail, with strong proofreading/quality assurance skill
Flexibility to work overtime as required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service orientation, personal presentation and relationship building skills
Organized, detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining priorities
Ability to function independently as well as member of team
