We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Biller in the Orthopaedic Surgery Department. To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent plus one (1) year of related experience is required. Ability to use Windows based system, some word processing and spreadsheet software used for tracking work requests to offices. Familiarity with medical billing software such as ADS, IDX, Medisoft and Medical! Manager. Medical billing experience and course completion rel! ated to billing services required. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum reimbursement to the Hospital and/or faculty practice by performing functions or registration, charge posting, and payment posting. Performs all clerical duties including filing, answering busy telephones and all related duties as assigned.
