Adirondack Medical Center is looking for an experienced individual to work as a General maintenance worker II in our Plant Operations department.
Responsibilities include:
Performs a wide-variety of skilled maintenance activities at the Medical Center and associated buildings and grounds owned/operated by AMC to include work in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting, and grounds maintenance.
Requirements/Qualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent.
Technical school training preferred.
5 or more years experience working in facilities maintenance or equivalent.
Reliable person capable of working without close supervision.
Willingness to learn new skills essential to the job.
Must be able to work in areas that are frequently hot and dirty and be able to lift heavy objects.
Must have valid driver’s license with clean record.
Must be able to do evening and night shifts and weekend calls.
