Description: Take Care Health Systems is presently looking of Group Exercise Class Instructor â€" NEW right now, this job will be placed in New York. We are currently seeking a PRN (Per Diem) Group Exercise Class Instructor for our onsite fitness center in New York, NY.

This position is specifically! a Yoga instructor and must hold a Yoga certification.

The ideal candidate will also hold other group exercise certifications and can teach additional types of classes with Yoga being the primary.

Group exercise classes are generally held before/after traditional work hours - i.e. before 9am or after 5pm. The intention is to have this position start as a sub and then have a regularly scheduled weekly class beginning in December.

Qualifications

Requirements

• One to three years of experience and be able to provide 2 references or a group exercise class certification (required for step, spin, yoga and pilates, optional for tai chi, self defense and other specialty classes)
• Current certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for community/lay responder
• First Aid Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Group exercise class certification â€" through ACE, AFAA, other health organization
• Group exercise class instruc! tion experience
• Specialty class certification for specialty class instruction
