The Assistant Director, Communications will streamline Wagner's outward facing image by a) designing, writing, publishing, and creating digital marketing content on multiple digita! l platforms; b) maintaining positive content for various social media channels; c) tracking web traffic and effectiveness of online marketing, social media, and email campaigns; and d) overseeing the production of printed promotional materials.

Qualifications/Required Education:
A Bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Education:
A Master's degree in Public Affairs, Communications, Marketing, Design, Public Relations, or related field is preferred.

Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years public relations, marketing and/or communications or equivalent combination. Must include experience in managing content in digital space including website, social media, blogs, multimedia content and other online platforms.

Preferred Experience:
Related experience at a college, university, or nonprofit organization is preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique compet! encies, certification, licenses, etc.):

Excellent ver! bal, writing, and project planning skills. Knowledge of social media platforms and their role in an integrated marketing plan. Knowledge of basic HTML & CSS coding, Adobe Creative Suite. Experience in measuring and monitoring social media and how these analytics can be applied to marketing and public relations strategies.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):

Proficiency in video, audio, digital photograph processes and editing software. Familiarity with iMovie and/or Final Cut Pro. Experience using a content management system is a plus.
