Responsibilities include ensuring the consistent production of a high quality product in a sweet goods facility while incorporati! ng safety and sanitation standards. Through leadership and support of IPM initiatives, the supervisor is charged with managing culture in a team-based environment. Additionally, the successful candidate will be challenged with controlling production costs and downtime, monitoring production and finished products, and communicating with employees.
Position Requirements
Principal Accountabilities:
- Generate reports through quality system to measure daily production performance to plant goals. Review conformance reports to ensure employees are adhering to standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate schedule with sales and shipping departments and adjust orders accordingly to maintain a constant production flow.
- Drive quality improvement and process waste elimination initiatives through functional team leadership.
- Report accurate counts to office staff for tracking labor, waste and damaged product on a daily basis.
- Ensure production line are adequately staff with quali! fied employees to complete each schedule order.
- Comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations as well as Plant rules and Company policies.
