Managed by resident Super. Helps to maintain building and 125 apartments on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Benefits available. Must work some weekends. The ideal candidate must:
- have minimum three years experience
- be knowledgeable of building systems: electrical, plumbing and heating;
- have good spackle and painting skills;
- be able to work independently;
- be experienced in general apartment maintenance such as: replacement of vinyl/ceramic tiles, window balances, light fixtures, faucets, radiators, etc;
- be a team player;
- communicate well to co-workers, tenant! s and management;
- have a proactive attitude and a goo! d work ethic;
- remove trash daily by emptying trash containers, transporting materials to disposal area and sorting the recyclables.
- keeps the tools and supplies orderly, determines new inventory and receives deliveries;
- maintain tools and inventory by checking and organizing stock; anticipate needed parts/supplies; receiving orders;
- continually updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
