Join the Clean Energy Revolution
Become a Customer Programs Conservation Efficiency Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll support the Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) and the New Home Energy Storage Pilot (NHESP). These programs provide financial incentives for the installation of new qualifying technologies that are installed to meet all or a portion of the electric energy needs of a facility. SGIP is a high visibility program that aligns with Southern California Edison’s Clean Energy Pathway and directly supports customer resiliency for those impacted by wildfires. Similarly, NHESP targets those same goals but is directly targeted to new home construction developers to encourage the adoption of energy storage before a residential customer even moves in. The success of these programs contribute to Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission reductions, energy demand reductions, and reduced customer electricity purchases, resulting in improved system reliability through improved transmission and distribution system utilization; as well as market transformation for Distributed Energy Resource (DER) technologies. In addition, you will be part of a large Customer Generation Programs team with a significant portfolio of behind the meter renewable energy programs. If you are passionate about renewable energy, have a curiosity about bettering our environment, and helping customers with their green energy needs, consider joining our team! As a Customer Programs Conservation Efficiency Specialist, your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?
