To meet our ambitions and goals, we are actively growing our research team and we are looking specifically for a Research Assistant to join us. With this position, we offer you an opportunity to actively contribute to several of our research projects with a range of in vitro screening tests necessary to further develop our technology. This role comes with new training opportunities to expand your laboratory skill set and grow, an open communication culture and working atmosphere, and a strong team spirit to enable our success together.
Your tasks
- Produce and characterize mRNA for research activities,
- Produce and characterize nanoparticle formulations,
- Carry out in vitro screening activities such as cell culture and transfection studies,
- Document results in reports,
- Carry out general laboratory management activities such as ordering raw materials and consumables.
Your profile
- You have a strong hands-on mentality and like to work in a multi-disciplinary team,
- You have a life sciences oriented professional training (BTA, CTA, MTA, PTA or equivalent),
- You are reliable, organized, and work thoroughly,
- You have good written and spoken English skills,
- It’s a plus, if you have experience working with nucleic acids or drug delivery formulations but more importantly you are a quick in picking up on things and always willing to learn something new.
