Work for a leading global company as an A+ Desktop Support Tech . Must be able to travel between multiple work sites. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity! OVERVIEW Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Activities include recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up. Performs general maintenance tasks and resolves less complex problems immediately, while more complex issues are identified to a higher level of support. May involve use of problem management databases and help desk system. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years' experience in Desktop Support including desktop and laptop break-fix A+ Certification required IBM/Lenovo Laptop/Desktop Warranty Certification required Clean driving record required Familiarity with a variety of desktop technical support concepts, practices, and procedures A wide degree of creativity and latitude expected May require an associate's degree in a related area Any of the following a plus: HP Printer Warranty Certification, HP Laptop/Desktop Certification, printer break-fix experience, networking experience *CompuCom supports Employment Equity and Diversity*
