The Finance Implementation Leader will be responsible for managing projects to implement APeX processes and solutions as part of Energy P&L ERP plans. APeX is a global Accounts Payable Shared Service following a single set of processes and procedures, currently serving the Power & Water, Energy Management and Oil & Gas businesses.
Essential Responsibilities
In this role you will serve as the AP Functional Lead to partner with AP IM, Business Finance, Business Sourcing, and Business IM to execute projects based on defined project plans. This role will expand to other businesses with the transition to the Global Operations-Finance organization with Global Growth and Operations (GGO). The Global Operations-Finance organization is responsible for creating and implementing AP best practices across all GE businesses. In addition, you will:
Lead functional aspects of mu! ltiple concurrent APeX implementations
Partner with A! PeX IM leaders and consultants to understand and manage project timelines and deliverables via IM TG process and AP project plans
Facilitate understanding of specific requirements with business teams for each project
Drive adherence to APeX standard processes by minimizing exception processes and creating streamlined or automated solutions for gaps
Track and resolve open items identified for each project
Coordinate testing execution and approval by AP functional owners
Educate business users on APeX processes and responsibilities, including coordination of training
Lead go live readiness with functional APeX team members
Support post go live AP or Business issues
Conduct knowledge sharing sessions with APeX leadership and applicable shared service centers for each project
Communicate project status, timeline, and challenges to AP and Business leadership
Define and execute process impro! vement projects around the implementation / roll out process
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
Minimum of 3 year of Buy to Pay experience
Minimum of 1 year of Accounts Payable experience

Oracle / SAP experience
Certified Black Belt or Gree! n Belt (GE Employees Only)
