Senior Advisor

Location: Syracuse New York

Description: Onondaga Community College is in need of Senior Advisor right now, this career will be placed in New York. Further informations about this career opportunity kindly read the description below. Provide a comprehensive range of small business based assistance, including:

• One-to-one client counseling in the area of business plan development
• Analysis and preparation of financial s! tatements
• Income statement and cash flow projections
• Market-related issues such as advertising, promotional functions, market surveys and other related areas
• Implements and/or participates in training sessions sponsored by the SBDC and provides follow-up services as necessary to attendees
• Performs clearing house services gathering information from clients and other interested individuals to outside providers when helpful

Major Responsibilities

Implement business advisor responsibilities including:

• Provide quality one-to-one advisement to a varied and complex range of clientele to provide counseling in the areas of business plan development, financial projections and business guidance
• Conduct SBDC training workshops on a regular basis
• Establish a comprehensive network of professional contacts for referral purposes
• Participate in business related training events and programs!
• Input data on clients into a management data base in! a timely basis

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in the areas of management, finance, economics or related field.

At least one (1) year of experience in private sector business or related public technical assistance environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in business advisement preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Commercial lending experience or knowledge is very helpful.
