The Consumer & Communi! ty Banking (CCB) Staff Unit Finance team is seeking candidates! with strong financial acumen, outstanding problem solving ability, and excellent business partnering skills. Team members must have an eye for process improvement opportunities and the ability to get things done. The successful candidate will work closely with other high performers and will participate in building out a more robust finance function in CCB.

Department Description:
The CCB Staff Unit Finance team reports to the CCB Chief Financial Officer and provides end-to-end financial support for CCB staff unit functions such as Marketing, Corporate Communications and Human Resources. The group is responsible for monthly reporting, ad-hoc financial analysis, managing the monthly and quarterly forecast, and annual budget/mid-year forecast reporting. This team will provide financial insight and advice to senior partners in the CCB staff units.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Research and create in-depth expense analytics (incl. price/vol! ume dynamics), highlighting areas of opportunity for expense saves

Develop and optimize reporting that provides senior management transparency on expense and headcount information

Support annual planning and multi-year forecasting process for all staff functions

Prepare presentations and supporting materials for the CCB staff function heads

Act as business partner/advisor to senior staff support managers, providing financial insight to the numbers.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
Has excellent quantitative and analytical problem solving skills, confidence with finance and accounting concepts, understands financial statements, and can operate effectively in a fast- paced, dynamic environment.

Ability to work in a matrix environment across all LOB's and manage multiple priorities

Has a positive attitude and projects confidence

Must be able to boil down financial concepts into layman's t! erms for a non-finance person to comprehend. Must be able to make the c! omplex simple.

Good judgment, professional maturity and personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, fact based, has the courage to ask the tough questions and challenge the status quo

Possesses a strong business presence, and is comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related business discipline

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications

5-7 years experience in Finance/Accounting
