Baker Restoration, a division of Baker R! oofing Company, is currently seeking a seasoned and junior Masonry Restoration Estimator to be based out of its Raleigh, NC headquarters. Come be a part of a rapidly growing multi-million dollar company.
Below is an overview of the position: Preparing estimates by calculating various statistical data such as quantity take-offs, material price lists, labor costs per man-hour, equipment costs and applying to complete scope of work Defining and quantifying scope of work and preparing comprehensive conceptual, budgetary, and construction cost estimates for projects Reviewing / researching historical data and compiling summary reports to develop guidelines and precedence for future estimates Maintaining involvement in uncovering sales opportunities with prospective and existing customers Skills/experience overview: Minimum 5-7 years of construction estimating experience in the structural concrete / masonry repair, structural restoration and waterproofing industry! Prior experience estimating for a self-performing constructio! n contractor A strong understanding of the construction market, including current market prices and clients (e.g. engineers, architects, property managers and owners) Demonstrated math and computer skills including Microsoft Excel Previous experience maintaining client relationships while performing light business development A Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is a major plus Baker Roofing Company is an equal employment/affirmative action employer.
