As Production Support Analyst, work
closely with FX eCommerce Client Services team for Americas supporting external clients for US and Latam America and traders and sales.
Work with regional NY and offshore teams to provide Level 1 and Level 2 production support for
FX eCommerce applications

Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) business is a key component within HSBCâs Global Banking and Markets division, and enables customers to execute FX spot and forward transactions 24 hours a day through a diverse range of channels in a large number of currencies.
The GFX business is striving to meet the highly challenging goal of growing market share. In 2013, it will continue to make substantial investments to strengthen its pricing, trading and risk management platforms,! as well as services to both external and internal customers.

We are looking for a high caliber individual to join the New York Production Support team to assist as the primary front office support contact for the Foreign Exchange eCommerce Client Services desk.

To implement the Group compliance policy locally by containing compliance risk in liaison with the Global Head of Compliance, Global Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources and training, fostering a compliance culture and optimizing relations with regulators.

Qualifications
Experience in providing production support and monitoring for large-scaled global front-office trading applications
Solaris and Linux, and shell scripting knowledge
SQL, (Sybase, Oracle)
Java experience
Solid knowledge or working experience in any of the following: PERL, MQ, RV
Network knowledge
Market data systems,! Websphere knowledge a plus
The ability to understand both IT ! and business perspectives, proposing practical and realistic solutions
Awareness of how to operate within a large global team
A flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities
Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to build and maintain global team relationships
Willingness to work independently and see problems through to completion
Bachelors degree in related field (Preferred)
