THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
As a Senior Software Developer, you will work in a highly collaborative team of Engineers in the development of our most cutting-edge, high-traffic online marketing platform. We are not looking for someone that fits exactly into the technology stack that we utilize, but rather a strong Developer with excellent Object-Oriented PHP and JavaScript development skills that is interested in learning and growing with cutting edge technologies such as non-relational data systems (Hadoop, MongoDB, etc.) as well as the latest JavaScript Frameworks and highly robust, extremely high traffic web design patterns. You will work in a paired-programming and test driven environment. You will master technologies that most developers are just becoming familiar with and continue to drive your skills on the latest tools, techniques and development platforms.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science is required, MS or PhD is highly desired
Strong background in Object-oriented development practices, preferable with PHP5 and JavaScript
Solid experience with JavaScript Frameworks (we use Symfony2 but as long as you have worked in a JavaScript framework we would love to hear from you!)
Strong drive to continuously improve your skills and work with the latest, cutting edge technologies and solutions.
Ability to learn and work with other technologies and solutions, such as PHP, Java, NoSQL solutions, etc.
