We currently are seeking a highly motivated Senior to support client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services, and support business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts.
Ernst & Young's Financial Services Office (FSO) is a uniquely ! industry-focused business unit that provides a broad range of ! integrated services to financial institutions and other capital markets participants, including retail and mortgage banking, commercial banks, investment banks, broker-dealers, asset managers (traditional and alternative), insurance and energy trading companies, and other organizations.
Our Performance Improvement Core Banking Operations team focuses on a variety of business process services that help identify assess, manage and measure the organization's capabilities. They help manage and deliver functional operational and process improvement for core banking systems, operational strategy, business performance improvement, cost management/profitability enhancement and business integration services through the full project lifecycle from assessment through design and process implementation in several of the following areas:
Mortgages (Default Management, Foreclosures, Loss Mitigation, Loan Origination Systems, Originations, Servicing, Fulfillment, Securiti! zation/Secondary Markets)
Consumer Lending (eCommerce/Mobile Banking, Deposits, ATM, Checking, etc.)
Auto Finance
Credit Cards/Payments

Responsibilities
Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Consistently deliver quality client services. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected ou! tcomes. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant t! o the client's business.
Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to assimilate to new knowledge. Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
To qualify, candidates must have:
a bachelor's degree and approximately 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 1-2 years of related work experience
experience in leading small to medium sized operations and technology change initiatives at leading corporations
experience in Financial Services, specifically in the lending space (core banking, mortgage, consumer, auto, credit cards)
process and domain knowledge including mortgage loan originations, fulfillment, servicing and securitization/secondary markets or domain knowledge within Auto-Finance, Credit Card/Payments, Consumer products - eCommerce/Mobile Banking, Depo! sits, ATM, Checking, etc.
understanding of key technology and services vendors and products supporting the consumer products value chain
excellent written and verbal communication skills for developing client deliverables and presentations
strong analytical skills; specifically, the ability to assess and diagnose financial services industry processes; six-sigma certification or exposure to other performance improvement methodologies a plus
strong presentation and communication skills
a willingness to travel to meet client needs
a valid driver's license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel internationally
Experience in one or more the following areas:
definition of business and technical requirements
design of business processes
process design and implementation support
system selection and proof of concept
data mapping and conve! rsion
quality assurance and testing
business and proc! ess reengineering
program/project management and implementation planning (PMO)
Previous project experiences in:
business rules/business process management automation/workflow
document management automation
enterprise application integration
package Implementation
reconciliation redesign or improvement
Previous application/package functional experience in any of the following a plus:
