BustedTees, the webs leading comedy e-commerce site is seeking an ambitious, well-rounded Full Stack Developer. If you have a preference for where you like to develop! , then we’ll be sure that’s where you spend most of your time! We're a small, fun-loving team dedicated to bringing the best funny T-Shirts and cool stuff to the Internet. Our goal at BustedTees is to make people laugh which means working here is pretty much awesome! The founders of CollegeHumor started BustedTees in 2004 and we're still working with them to put out hilarious products every week. We're re located in downtown Manhattan, are growing rapidly and are actually profitable! Yes, profitable! Responsibilities:
Help create the future site BustedTees's custom e-commerce platform.
Build internal tools to support out production and marketing teams.
Create new, interesting user experiences for a creative online shopping experience
Implement and iterate site features, with an eye toward customer response and data-driven design.
Contribut! e to product design and development. Skills & Requirements
Deep knowledge of either Prototype or jQuery.
Experience building intuitive user interfaces.
LAMP stack experience, with an emphasis on PHP and MySQL.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop.
Experience with source control (git, SVN, Mercurial) Bonus Points:
Strong understanding of MVC design principles and object-oriented programming.
Previous e-commerce or startup experience.
Knowledge about A/B Testing, multivariate testing and customer statistics.
Past experience with Rails, Memcache, and Amazon Web Services
