Our client a leading financial software solutions company is looking to recruit Professional Services Connsultant for t! heir New York USA office ( there will be some potential for travel) . We are currently recruiting for and have placed people at their offices in California , Bristol UK and London . Your role will be to install, maintain and configure products within the Transactional Lifecycle Management Product range according to specification, typically as part of a Project team working on customer sites. Salary is in a range depending on your seniority and experience you can bring

Key Outputs:
Translate business processes to productised implementations.
Analyse data, complete research, diagnose and solve business and technical problems.
Impart business theories to the customer.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Familiar with SQL
Writing SQL's

• Oracle & OR SQL
• Familiar with PL/SQL will be a plus!

Familiar with Application Servers

• IBM Websphere, Weblogic, JBoss
• Must know how t! o install application servers, configure, etc.
• Must b! e familiar with J2EE architecture, web services, etc.

Programming knowledge

• Should be able to understand Java Exceptions
• Troubleshooting Java exceptions

Familiar with IDE's like Eclipse, SQL Developer, etc.
Analytical & logical thinking
Familiar with Unix (basic commands)
Familiar with Windows, MS Word, etc.

Good to have:
Prior experience with SmartStream products

• TLM 2.1, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6 SP1,
• Familiar with TLM Control, Configuration Transfer, Recon Admin, SmartStudio & SmartSchema

Knowledge about the Reconciliation domain
Knowledge about ETD's, NAV's, Cash, Position and Transactions reconciliations will be a plus

Qualifications:
BSc (Hons) Computer Science : 2:1 or higher OR
Similar degree with significant computer bias.
